.60 experimental

Postby h00t » Sat Jun 11, 2016 12:32 pm

Wow, just wow. I´ve been playing the .60 experimental now for about 8h and its amazing. The most noticable change is of course the new renderer. At first I thought my fps-counter was broken because it was stuck on 60 fps, but entering Cherno it dropped to 50 and was hopping up and down between 50-60.
The level of detail is just great. The big coastal cities have gotten some major changes and its awesome to explore the new stuff. And man of the small villages inland have gotten alot of changes, new houses and other details. During my period on this latest build I´ve had one ctd and som minor issues so I don´t think it will be that long before this goes to stable. It can be a hassle getting in the few server on experimental becasue of the amount of players hammering the servers but once you are in, it is one sweet experiance. It looks so good, the colours, the rain, and all those details that really sets DayZ apart from other games is just top notch.
With the new central loot economy it takes some exploring to survive, but that gives you a chance to really explore thee map and get that true wilderness feel.
Give exp a try and hit me up in the new TS-channel if you wanna team up for some exploring. But I really understand if most of you wait untill the move to stable. But the wait will be worth it, trust me.
